EN HO 20338 2011: Definition of general requirements and test methods of safety and work footwear for professional use. This standard can only be used jointly with the EN 13O 20345:2011 and EN ISO 20347:2012 standards which specify the requirements for the footwear depending on the specific level of risk.

EN ISO 20345:2011 Specifications for safety footwear for professional use. Reference the EN ISO 20344:2011 standard, this standard defines the fundamental and additional(facultative) requirements for safety footwear for professional service. This footwear contains disposals intended to protect the wearer from hurts that could occur from accidents in industrial environments against which the shoe has been made, is fitted out with a toecap that protects the wearer’s toes against crushing impacts with protection provided on 200 joules.

EN ISO 20347:2012: Specifications for work footwear for professional use.  This footwear is different from safety footwear by the fact that these do not have toecaps against injury from falling objects or crushing impacts.
